In today's mail came an envelope from the Etsy shop of Courage My Love...
...containing a print I had ordered of one of Maddie's mystical seaside photos. I have been following her blog, Persisting Stars (the name alone is rife with magic!), and waiting breathless each morning for a little slice of her delicious world. Finally, I gave in to temptation and ordered one of her prints.
It is lovely, and perhaps the best thing about it is that the envelope contained so much more than just the print. When I opened it, a whole bevy of beautiful images spilled out, along with a sweet note. And this is another in a long line of reasons why I love Etsy! (I may have mentioned that before ;)
I want to have a house of friend's artwork. It is nice to find work you love.
ReplyDeleteI love Maddie, she is such a sweet genuine person. I have two of her prints and was as equally surprised to see the bounty of extras.
ReplyDeleteHer work, like her blog fill me with inspiration.
I went on line and look at this oh my I am in trouble! Some many neat and lovely things-Aaron would kill me if I started buying up the place!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous print... I am thinking (maybe) of opening a shop here (Etsy)... still checking it out... I may not end up doing it... we'll see... take care
ReplyDeleteI think I may need to start looking at Etsy!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the photos look amazing.
i love her teacup photo!
ReplyDeleteYou are going to be amazed at the treasures you find in China. We spent the majority of our money on artwork....I don't regret a dime. Three years later, I am still gradually framing it all. I love your magical find.
ReplyDeleteWonderful print ! I like her work too
