Mother-daughter time

We have had some spectacular sunset skies this summer. This is one that my mom snapped from the car window as we were heading home from mini-golf.

Happy mum! I love doing things with her because we enjoy all the same things. We have always worked as a good team, whether we're traveling together, playing mini golf, or building a toy chest. It's easy for us, and I know I'm lucky. Not everyone has the kind of relationship we have. I treasure it.

  5. It is great that you have your mum so close... I hate the fact that she lives 10,000 miles away... I realize since living in the US just how much I enjoyed doing stuff with mum and I did say sorry to her for being 'difficult' when I were growing up... hehehe... she laughed...

  6. I have never seen a family so into mini golf. I think we need to give it a try! Only problem- i am ultra competitive! you are so fortunate to have the relationship you do with your mum- i think that is a strong indicator of what your relationship will be like with your own daughter!
