Lilly of the Valley

In a far back corner of our yard, behind the gate, behind the rose bushes, tucked away in the shadow, we were surprised to find a small patch of muguet...lilly of the valley.

This little thing popped up this year out of nowhere, too, in the shade of the apple tree. I have no idea what it is. Can anyone enlighten me?

  1. I love lilly of the valley...we had it growing up against our house in Massachusetts. I tried to grow it here in NC but no luck. The flowers look like little fairy bells...

  2. Oh my goodness, I just got home and took a peek (have a lot of blog catching up to do!) and I cannot believe how changed QQ is! She looks taller, and more girly!

  4. I think the flower you don't know the name of is called the Star of David. At least that is what we have always called them. Q is adorable and fast!

  5. Ah, thanks! I have never seen one before. I'll have to look it up. It's quite pretty, at any rate!
