I love to see all these comments and suggestions.
We compost for our gardens, and, Monica, I am a huge fan of the locavore movement, though we are not strictly locavores, I'm sorry to say. As for our recycling, it's very easy in our neighborhood, since we have a great curbside recycling program...and I very much admire those people who recycle even when they have to go far out of their way to do it.
Hayley, as always - you take the cake. I can't wait to hear my daughter repeat the word "recycle".
Carrie, of course I know you guys do your part, and then some. You rule. And how about buying fruits and veggies from local growers? BYOB of course. My daughter is going to end up making regular trips with Mommy to the recycling drop-off which is luckily just down the highway. Hopefully that and living less wastefully and with fewer "disposables" will just become a lifestyle and a habit for her.

Gin =)Virginiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17169523852100305941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1852496254093254902.post-47571312225717752972009-05-14T16:57:00.000-07:002009-05-14T16:57:00.000-07:00I think it is everyone's duty to stop pollution.
