You know what is really magical? The transformation of your lives, and how wonderfully bonded as a family you appear to be! (But the pictures are pretty abracadabra too). :o)
Beautiful. Thanks, Maia, you are such an artist. How do you manage to capture QQ with that smile?! Jasmine's expressions come and go with such force. Monica
Maia, I agree with Vivian, the transformation in your family and your utter love for your child is the Magic. The photos are pretty magical too! Hey, put some mittens on the QQ!
The QQ will not wear mittens. Will. Not. It may have to do with the fact that she spent almost a month in arm braces and resents being restrained in any way. She screams as if she'd been doused in boiling oil if you put mittens on her. Fortunately, Denver has a pretty mild climate and on days like this it's usually in the 50s. When we run on more wintery days, she goes inside a heavy fleece bunting in the stroller, plus a fleece suit underneath that. She drinks her bottle with bare hands (I usually warm the bottle before we leave so that it warms her hands) and if I'm lucky she falls asleep in the stroller after her bottle, and then I can pull the suit's mittens over her hands. If she wakes to find her hands swaddled, then I have a screaming baby all the way home. I can't wait until she's big enough to fit in gloves.
