As you can see, Q's abiding love for balloons has not dimmed with time.
This was her New Year's balloon that Daddy got her while they were letting me sleep in on New Year's morning :) , getting me coffee and buying pastries from the Italian bakery, plus a copy of The Sound of Music to watch on the sofa. They are good to me.
Also, I realized that since I haven't yet had the time to upload all the videos from the new Zip camera that my mum got us for Christmas, I don't have many images on here of Q up and walking.
So I thought I'd remedy that.
The difficulty is, our house is a bit dim, and when she's in motion, she's usually going at a good clip...so it's hard to capture her without the flash. (btw no, she is NOT drinking espresso in this picture. We have a hard enough time controlling her natural energy.
Still, I've done my best.
A screech of glee.
Sam's getting better, although I would not say that he
enjoys being batted on the nose.
Yup, she's mastered bending down and picking things up without support. She can also carry things in both hands and even drink from her sippy cup while walking. She very much enjoys showing off her multitude of new skillz.
Offering me her breakfast. I had to send her back to daddy repeatedly in an effort to capture her walking, since all she wanted to do was race toward me in order to see an instant replay of my last photo. She's very much a child of modern technology that way.
She also very much enjoys having her toes counted.

Ah QQ, looking lovely in stripes! Have you tried counting ribs? It's a tradition in my family passed down from my father and me and now to me and BB. The thing is, we really aren't sure how many ribs little girls are supposed to have and because of giggling and wiggling we must always start over. My father never found out either. Hmmmm.
I see one way to her heart is through a balloon...

What wonderful pictures! QQ is really learning and changing so fast. It's amazing how far she has come in such a short time!
Wow, she's a quick study! Love these pictures. You can really sense the movement and she looks like she's having a blast.
