Our little Max, in the brief interval during which she deigned to wear her crown.
After three days of blizzard and three feet of snow, it (typically) turned summer again very abruptly on Halloween morning, and the world began to melt at a furious pace.
By noon we had all stripped to our shirtsleeves, and I'm willing to bet that the sluices and aqueducts of the city were raging with runoff.
We met up with Q's friend Esme, resplendent in the white owl costumer her aunt made for her.
Q didn't recognize her at first under the goggle-eyes and white feathers, but before long they were holding hands again amid the throngs of revelers on Tennyson.
Jena, maker of the wonderful owl costume (and the photographer who took that lovely photo in my previous post).
I got an armful of fuzzies.
Q and a matching dog in the last of the snow.

Great costumes! You were so smart to take them out early. By the time we went out (regular trick or treating hours, 6:30ish) YY was already fading fast. The excitement of the day wore her out before the big moment! Glad Q and E had a great time. They are super cute in white.
How adorable! Where did you get that wild thing costume?
let the wild rumpus begin! I just love QQ in that costume! Typical Denver weather eh.
Looks like QQ had fun!

It has been a while since dropping by for a visit...
So, I have been catching up on things that are going on with you all... of course... seeing the snow (not that I have been in it) makes me want to head back to Colorado... I am loving Q's Halloween costume... so gorgeous... I had seen the movie and had mentioned to Mike that I would love one of those for me... forget anyone else :)
Hope life is treating you well... looks it... take care...
