QQ goes to gymnastics every Saturday morning. And she LOVES it. She kinda lives for it. Well, that and basketball.
Usually, it's QQ and Daddy's morning. But once in a long while I join them, just because I can't resist seeing Q's progress (oh, and jumping on the trampolines, of course!)
Every surface in the building, including the floor, is bouncified here (I'm sure there's some more correct technical term for it...but if there is, I don't know it). I plan on doing the same to our house as soon as I have the extra cash (hah!). Because it's pretty awesome when every surface you set foot to is bouncy. We probably also need one of these plushy canons (I'm sure there's a better word for this as well) to slide through. And two or three trampolines. And Q will insist on the corral-full of yoga balls. So...we've got a lot to work for.
Q has recently become quite proficient at swinging from the bars. This might have something to do with her recent love affair with Curious George. I'm just guessing.
I've also noticed that, lately, she's making pretty much anything available into a balance beam...curbs, monkey bars, the arms of couches...
Yup, Q definitely loves her gymnastics, and gets more and more excited about it as each week wears on toward its Saturday morning...
...though, when it comes down to it, the balls are still her favorite part.

I love gymnastics for the confindence it gives our kids! Go QQ!
Someone is having a lot of fun!
Happy Thanksgiving the whole family!
Awesome!
Happy Thanksgiving to you all
I want bouncy floors too! What fun :o)
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
She is such a little athlete already! Good for her. I have an idea for you from my brother, who takes his three year old to play gym. At the end of the session the leader takes a bucket full of balls and just flings them into the gym. The kids go crazy chasing them all. They just love the goofiness of it. What do you think? Can your living room handle it? : ) Happy (American) Thanksgiving!! xox S.
Sarah, not only can our livingroom handle it, but it does on a regular basis. Q's ball obsession started so early and so decisively that we ended up buying her a ball every time we went to Target. By now, she has probably close to 30 of all varieties. She has several basketballs and soccer balls, a couple of footballs, a can of tennis balls, a few random golf balls, a kick ball, some nerf balls, and any number of random bouncy balls. We ended up with so many that we had to buy an expandable ball net, which we bolted to the wall in the livingroom. At the end of the day we do a ball roundup and put them all back in.
