you too!! we're off for our first ever FCC celebration (with kiddo that is) tonight. i can't believe the number of years i've waited. getting the house cleaned and decorated too :)
I read your blog often. I can not remember how I came to know of it. I only know that I am constantly touched by how you speak of your daughter. My husband and I are waiting for the word to go to China and meet a little boy that will be our son. He has a cleft lip/palate. I am only telling you this because it has been mostly QQ and the way you talk of her and the honesty and forthright way you talk about her and her surgeries, that really opened my heart and mind up to this SN. I just want you to know that your words and pictures and blog have truly made a difference in this Mama's journey. Thank you.
Chris, thanks! I just looked at your blog and your daughters are lovely. Q's clothes are a mixed bag...we have a very good baby resale store in the neighborhood and I do get most of hers second hand, because she grows SO fast! The Oilily sweater in these shots was from that store. Once a year or so I order a couple of key pieces from a French designer, Le Vestiaire de Jeanne, but that's the only thing I really indulge in at retail prices. Q grew and inch a month for the entire first year (and then some) that she was home, so it's hard to keep up with her! We've just been lucky with what we've inherited from friends or found at resale!
