What do you suppose... ...was going through her mind... ...at this particular moment? I just don't know. Sometimes she boggles even my mind. And then there's this - a duck, grooming herself of a lovely spring morning. And a redwing on thin ice.
The mind of a child is a never ending source of amazement to me. It does make you wonder. Oh well, whatever it was she was thinking, I'm sure it was brilliant and imaginative.
soh- I just love her. I can't believe how big she is and how much older she looks already. I think she just wanted to practice using those new beautiful lips! but love the reference to the christmas story.
Love the photos, QQ is so inquisitive, much like my Jill. I love her sense of adventure. Thank you for the compliments on my blog, I got the pictures larger by going into the Flickr site, downloading a photo, I can then fix it in Pinic(if you need too). On the top of the photo you will see all sizes. Cut (URL) large size, go to new post (blogger images)and paste, now upload. I learnt this trick of the trade from Connie at t24 Treasures, the woman is a computer genius. :)

It reminds me of the scene in A Christmas Story where the kid sticks his tongue to the flagpole :)

I think she wanted to know how the pole tasted. I agree with Melissa it reminds me of a scene from A Christmas Story.
Love the duck and little bird on thin ice!

I sense the coldness of the steel. bracing, yet like ice cream cold. What a sweet being.
