Sisters and brothers

This is Mike's brother S. and his wife C. with their beautiful babies. They live in the South and are awaiting the birth of their third little butterball (as yet to be named!), but we all hope - for entirely selfish reasons - that they'll be able to move back to Colorado soon.

And while I'm talking about things I'm grateful for, I need to mention my sister-in-law. I am lucky to have her for a friend and confidante, a fellow aesthete, a hiking companion and a shopping partner (or should I say enabler?)

As it is, we get to "hog" them for a few weeks at a time, twice a year or so...which usually means plenty of trips to the Nature and Science Museum, the zoo, the Children's Museum, and anywhere else we can go to get our fill of our niece and nephew. The rest of the year, we have to make do by following eachother's blogs.
