Nursery update

Remember that mobile I custom-ordered from the Etsy shop of Mobilosity a few weeks ago? Well, it was finished to our specifications in about 24 hours and arrived on our doorstep in record time. It did, however, take me some time to get around to hanging it! Let me tell you, though, it was worth the wait. It looks fabulous and airy and modern and clean in there, just as I imagined, refracting the wonderful light in that room.

It isn't easy to photograph, though. It's so ethereal and catches the light so subtly that I think my camera doesn't quite know what to focus on. In any case, you can get the idea.
We're expecting another social worker visit here soon (time to extend our I-171H) and I'm actually looking forward to showing off the nursery! Kind of glad I got started on it last month.
Now, if I could just manage to finish that chair...

Beautiful-the whole impact! Heh, maybe I should finish S's nursery one of these days before she grows out of it...

work on the chair? I'd be curlin' up in that cozy room for a nap. Picture me rolled up in that zebra nap, staring vacantly at the mobile...

so cozy!

I meant zebra rug, not nap. See, I am tired!

Maia I have painted my bedroom this colour for years. Infact this is the first house I didn't paint it. I love the warmth.
Can't wait to see a little babe in that crib gazing at her mobile

The mobile is wonderful! And I love how the nursery is turning out. Just a question, though...have the poochies been in there? Because when we set up Kerri's nursery, our pooch was in there constantly. Just curious!

That's awesome! I can only imagine how it looks in person. And I agree with Yoli, hurry up on the chair! And while you are in Florida doing Fliss's nursery, stop by for a visit. Mario will make you all a great Cuban meal!

Sam, my dog, isn't interested in the nursery at all. If I'm in there painting, he'll lie on our bed and watch me. He's not a floor dog - if there's no couch and no bed, he's not interested. Mike's dog Max, however, has appropriated the nursery...mostly because I wedged him out of my mom's room, which was his previous domain. He likes quiet rooms without a lot of traffic.

and you painted the ceiling?
I am so utterly impressed.
I want to do this, I really do but cannot bring myself to do it.

I love that room.
