Today I had the utmost pleasure of meeting J & M's beautiful daughter, E. She is, and I do not exaggerate, a total charmer. She is also bright, coordinated and skilled with her hands. And funny. She also likes to put things on her head. You know, hats, bowls, whales, tubes of lotion...
She and J already had a lovely rapport, and when J left the room to take a phonecall, there was a distinct little cry of consternation and dismay.
I brought E some small offerings, of which I think here favorite was the tube of body lotion (what is it with kids and tubes of gooy stuff?), followed closely by the paper St@rbucks bag that the gifts came in. Which also, FYI, makes a stylish hat.
Here's a bowl that's about to become a hat.
And here's E with my (actual) hat. Which she quickly appropriated.
It is a nice hat.
Looking to see if there's anything inside it. You never know. Sometimes there are rabbits inside of hats. It's always worth checking.
Nope. Rabbit-less. Lagomorpha-free. Bereft of mammals of any kind.
Here's J and E saying goodbye.
