Ask away

OK, so I'm going to continue with my "people I'm grateful for" posts...as soon as I have time to do some more digital collaging. But right now I'm working on a couple of portraits and need to focus on the drawing board a bit. Also, there just isn't a lot going on right now that's worth documenting. Mike's hard at work on business project and I'm back in the studio, and...well...it's February. Not the most picturesque of months. More of a hole-up-and-buckle-down sort of monht. I'm hoping that Mike might take me to Casa Bonita for my birthday (hint-hint) which is always good for a few pictures...
In the meantime, I got an idea from K1's blog and thought it was a great idea. So here you go - an open invitation to ask me anything: silly question, serious question, whatever your heart desires. I will try to answer with all honesty (keeping in mind that I'm keeping this blog a bit more private than the last one).

I'm going to ask you two, if that's okay.

1. Out of all of your wonderful travels, which is your favorite and why?

2. What is the best gift you have ever given?

What is our favorite stuff animal you sleep with or is it a pillow or none of the above.

Mine is this old pillow that has been washed to death. I hug it all night long!

If you could do one thing differently that you regret from your past, what would it be and why?

what one thing are you most looking forward to being a mom for the first time? First word, first hug, first "love you", etc....

Who is your favorite artist? if you could go back in time and sit with one artist who would it be and why?

I guess it is an artist/time traveler question...

My question... since everyone has asked the 'travel' questions... Who taught you photography? What is your fave photo you took?
Me, I never learnt cause I could never afford the 'film' for the camera... remember that... but since Digital... look out... I will say Maia... you were the one who kinda egged me to start learning photography - though I have no idea about half the gadgets etc...

You have multiple artistic talents between writing, drawing, photographing...: which one do you think helps your express yourself the best? Which one do you want to improve? Which one do you still have to learn? Which one could you live without? or could not?

I had a hard time coming up with a good question that was not already asked. So here is my question:
what is the most important advice or words of wisdom you would like to share with your daughter (when the time is right)?
