Daddy's naptime ritual

When it's daddy's morning to entertain the Q, he's developed a ritual of watching an episode of Yo Gabba-Gabba on i-Tunes to wind her down for naptime. Seems like a good ritual...and it looks pretty comfortable there on the rug with a peanut butter and banana snack, doesn't it?
As you can see, the girl carries a lot of tension. I think she worries about the stock market.

I hardly notice you anymore with that camera, Mommy. Sometimes I even forget you're there.
This is what happened when I asked her to show me her foot.
And then she lapsed into a peanut-butter coma.
All her pants are getting too short. I just measured her today for the first time since Christmas...and she's grown like an inch and a half!!!! Sheesh!
How cute are those feet??
I need to touch them all the time. Play with her toes. Luckily, she likes to have her toes played-with.

And this is why it's such a perfect show for Q...because her name is QiuQiu, and she likes to dance!!

I envy the fact that you can get her to nap. We are having issues. Is that Yo Gabba Gabba I see?

Looks I better clean out FF's drawers and send you some pants. What size is she wearing now?

How can you be surprised she is growing at such a rate when you are filling her full of vitamins and minerals at every turn?
Quality in, quality out.
Love how she just points a foot in your direction as she is so blissed out she doesn't even use her hands to point.
Have you seen the episode of YGG with Elijah Wood? What a strange but cute little show.
Glad to hear she loves to dance. Watching YY move to music is one of the highlights of my existence. xoxo to QQ ps. the word verifiction word is wingeo! Thought you would like that.

Love those little feet! I do the same with kid's feet. I also photograph them a lot. Their feet and their little hands. I want to have the memory of those precious extremities all my life.

She sure has grown quite a bit since China, just look at those tootsies!

And Kerri likes to dance to that show too, go figure.

okay, a box is on it's way, lots of 18 month pants and some cool shoes for QQ. Also, Mike saw Yo Gabba Gabba the other day and pronounced it child worthy viewing...so I guess the Dads are digging it!

As for the rainbows and such, Maia, I think your attitude is amazing, we had a difficult time with Piper the first year, but Paisley was easy and relaxed like QQ...each kid, each scenario is different. I think you are absolutely right about 'labeling' our children.
