QQ's got a monkey on her back.

As you can see, someone is feeling much better these days.
She's also advancing at triple-speed since recovering from her last surgery. Hard to believe it's only been a week and a half since she stopped breathing after anesthesia.
Here she is throwing her ball up over her head. Two weeks ago, she was only capable of throwing straight down. Everything she tossed - no matter how she tried to direct it - went straight down. This week, she has suddenly mastered the technique of throwing things straight skyward. She's very, very excited about this new skill.
She's also doing better and better with hats...though her moods are still fickle on this subject. Pick the wrong hat, and she loses it.
And she's still a great dancer. Her dance moves get more elaborate by the day. Her own natural tendencies have only been compounded by Yo Gabba Gabba.

Here, she managed to snag mommy's camera and shoot this picture before mommy could snatch it back.
She's still very into her bags.
And the monkey on her back? She thinks it's a backpack. Though it's secretly a leash. Yeah, she's one of those kids. She has no natural caution, much less fear, and is always going about five directions at once at top speed.

Fabulous! Emme had the bear backpack that I brought to China, just in case. We never used it but it became her first friend. She recently found him in a box of giveaways and well it's back in her life. She was wearing him all day yesterday. All our animals here are boys for some reason.

Excellent idea! I had a wrist to wrist leash for YY and she loved it until she figured out that she was not leading me. : ))
